Be part of the global discussion on an innovative new form of therapy for managing tricky skin conditions this April, as FutureCPD invites dermatology specialists from UK, Italy and Canada to review fluorescence photobiomodulation.

About the expert panel:

Carly Mason
Carly graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 2003. She spent 7 years in general practice before completing an ECVD Veterinary Dermatology residency at Rutland House Referrals, achieving the ECVD Veterinary Dermatology Diploma qualification in 2014. She is currently an RCVS and EBVS recognised Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology. Carly currently works as an independent veterinary dermatology consultant at 5 private referral centres and for Guide dogs for the Blind in the United Kingdom. Carly enjoys all aspects of veterinary dermatology work and has a particular interest in autoimmune skin ddiseases, allergic skin disease and otitis.

Tony Yu
Dr. Yu completed his DVM at the Ontario Veterinary College in 1990, and after finishing a residency and MSc. at Auburn University, he started the first private dermatology referral practice in Oregon where he dealt with chronic ear, skin, and allergic conditions in dogs, cats, and horses for 11 years. He then returned to the OVC as an Associate Professor in Veterinary Dermatology in 2004. As of 2013, Dr. Yu is back in private referral practice at the Veterinary Allergy Dermatology & Ear Referral Clinic (VADER) in Ontario. He has lectured extensively and authored, and guest edited several publications in canine, feline, and equine journals, and veterinary textbooks.

Andrea Marchegiani
Graduated with full marks in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Camerino in 2011, he obtained a PhD in the field of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2015. He is actually a Researcher at the University of Camerino. He has completed various externship periods at universities and research centers abroad. The main fields of interest and research concern the use of fluorescence photobiomodulation in the dermatological problems of animals and the ophthalmology of species of veterinary interest. He is the author of publications in both national and international peer-reviewed journals and speaker at numerous national and international congresses.
