About the Speakers
Laura Jones
Laura qualified as an RVN in 2010. After spending the first half of her career working in general practice and out-of-hours clinics, she became an internal medicine and feline medicine nurse at a multidisciplinary referral centre in 2015. She gained her DipAVN in 2014, her ISFM Diploma in Feline Nursing in 2018 and became a veterinary technician specialist in small animal medicine in 2019. Laura currently works as the Senior Medicine Nurse at The Ralph Referral Centre and is especially passionate about all aspects of feline medicine and nursing.
Libby Sheridan
Libby graduated from Dublin vet school and after 10 years working in mixed and small animal practice, she entered industry working in pet nutrition. She then set up and ran her own company Mojo Consultancy, specialising in technical communications, PR and project management, before joining Purina Petcare in 2018 as Scientific Affairs Manager for the UK & Ireland in 2018. In 2022 she gained a Masters in Health Care Management examining organisational transformation, professional decision making and global leadership, which she passed with Distinction.
