About the speaker:

Angie Lloyd-Jones DCR, DMU

Aspire Ultrasound Consultancy Services

Angie is a senior advanced ultrasound practitioner, and the founder of Aspire Ultrasound Consultancy Services Ltd.

Angie’s knowledge base is drawn from her extensive clinical, managerial, and senior lecturer experience, working her way through the ranks of the NHS across the UK to management level, within the private medical sector and for several CASE-accredited, higher education institutes. She worked for a UK-wide private imaging company, as Head of Ultrasound, leaving the company after 4 years to diversify into small animal ultrasound at specialist level. She soon realised the need to support the veterinary profession by endorsing competency-based ultrasound training with a view to raising the standards of veterinary ultrasound.

Angie has been instrumental in writing professional ultrasound practice guidelines for small animal abdominal ultrasound, reviewed by the Education Board of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imagers (ECVDI).
